Kaarina's journey into dance education started in 2008 when she completed her Sports Science degree at Tallinn University, followed by specialized certification in partner dance instruction at the Estonian Dance Academy. How Kaarina Thinks About Dance & Wellness

Kaarina doesn't believe in cookie-cutter approaches to dance instruction. Every person who walks into a workshop brings different experiences, abilities, and comfort levels. Her job isn't to force people into a mold — it's to meet them where they are and help them move forward at their own pace.

She's seen too many seniors hesitate to try dancing because they think they're "too old" or "not flexible enough" or "never learned as a kid." Those aren't real barriers. What matters is showing up, being willing to learn, and finding a community that welcomes you. The physical benefits follow naturally once people start moving regularly with good instruction.

Her teaching philosophy is built on three pillars: clarity (explaining why you're learning something, not just how), confidence (creating safe spaces where mistakes are normal), and community (emphasizing that dancing is inherently social and more fun with others).
